Sizing and Fabrics
If a fabric is natural fibre, such as cotton, silk or wool, we will list it, otherwise assume it is man-made, this can include viscose. With some vintage items we can't always tell what the fabric is, as they aren't labelled but we will describe the 'feel.' If you do want more information on a specific item, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to help.
As we sell a mixture of vintage and modern clothing and we use modern sizing tables when listing a garment, so you can find a true modern fit and shop more easily and consistently.
This means you may purchase an item with a label on it which says '16' but which has been measured as modern size '12' for example . We measure bust/chest and waist and hip size before listing vintage garments and sizing them.
